Refund Policy – Overview

ModFlowX is a specialized manufacturer and provider of custom-engineered flow control equipment. Due to the nature of our business and the made-to-order production process, all sales are considered final and are non-refundable unless expressly agreed to in writing by ModFlowX prior to order fulfillment.

By placing an order with us—whether via email, contact form, quote request, or document exchange—the customer agrees to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.

Scope of Application

This policy applies to all orders and communications, including but not limited to:

Orders initiated or confirmed via email
Documents exchanged (e.g. technical drawings, quotes, invoices, purchase orders)
Communications via our website, chat forms, or any other digital channel
Verbal confirmations that are later documented in writing

Any agreement to produce, deliver, or invoice product—regardless of the communication method—shall be bound by this Refund Policy.

Eligibility for Refunds (if any)

Refunds are not guaranteed and are only considered under the following strict conditions:

The product received is materially defective or damaged due to an error by ModFlowX prior to shipment.
The customer notifies us in writing within 3 business days of receiving the item.
Adequate proof of damage or defect (e.g. photos, inspection reports) is submitted to ModFlowX for review.

All other claims—including but not limited to shipping damage, incorrect installation, misuse, or field failure—are not eligible for refund or replacement.

Custom or Engineered Items

All custom-engineered products, ceramic inserts, modular chokes, and any components made to specification are strictly non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.

No Refunds for Change of Mind or Delays

Refunds will not be issued due to:

Customer change of mind
Shipping delays caused by third-party couriers or customs
Installation issues or operational misuse
Miscommunication of specifications not confirmed in writing

ModFlowX Discretion Clause

ModFlowX reserves the right to approve or deny any refund request at its sole discretion. If a refund is issued, it may be partial and subject to administrative or restocking fees.

Return Shipping & Restocking (if applicable)

If a return is authorized:

The customer must return the product in unused, original condition.
The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
A restocking fee of up to 25% may apply, based on the nature of the product and time of return.
